This session is hosted by the NM Department of Health and reviews the top five survey deficiencies for home health agencies in previous years and provides suggestions and tips for not just avoiding these deficiencies, but how best to approach, document, and use the assessment and plan of care to deliver high quality care while cementing compliance with the most frequently cited conditions of participation. Most of the top home health survey deficiencies are related to how thoroughly and accurately a home health agency completes assessments and develops, updates, and delivers services of the plan of care.
